Catalina Valenzuela is a research engineer focused on computational genomics, genome assembly, and long-read analysis. At Di Genoma Lab, she works on cancer genomics projects and on methods for building haplotype-resolved genomes using hybrid and trio-based sequencing strategies.

Her expertise includes genome assembly, haplotype phasing, HPC environments, and Nextflow-based workflow development. She plays a central role in translating sequencing data into scalable, reproducible analysis systems for the lab.
